Claremont School announce their forthcoming Open Mornings on May 8th & May 9th for more details visit

Our ground is located within the Crowhurst Park Holiday Village in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our Club and its members are always grateful for the encouragement & support of our President Mr Colin Simmons

Welcome to Crowhurst Park Cricket Club

We are a fun but ambitious club with strong family virtues and community values.

We have four adult teams playing in the Sussex Premier and East Sussex leagues. Our thriving Junior Section runs five teams playing local competitive cricket.

Additionally, we have Sunday and Mid-Week matches and our recently formed Ladies Section play with great spirit and more than a little success

We are always looking for Members -see our Member page for more information.

Our ground is one of the most beautiful in the area and located within the Crowhurst Park estate in an area of outstanding natural beauty with outstanding views across the Sussex countryside stretching to the English Channel.

We operate completely self-sufficient with total responsibility for the maintenance of our facilities.

Our pavilion forms the all-important social centre of the club to which we offer a warm and friendly welcome to everyone

Take a look at our website heading above and note the Pelham Buckle. The emblem became the Pelham family crest in 1356, then 56 years later the village of Crowhurst was bequeathed to John Pelham by King Henry 1V. So, began the history of Crowhurst Park.

The Lord of the estate formed the Cricket Club in 1836 and it is recorded that on the 28th of May 1895 a match was played between Crowhurst Park and Crowhurst village in the gardens of the Manor House before the ground was moved to the current location. The Pelham buckle can be seen displayed on many prominent buildings in the area and it remains a central part of our club badge proudly respected and worn by all club members.

Breaking News

This season we are are again honoured to have 3 Overseas Players from Mackay Queensland Australia  now Old friends Joel Bruun along with Lochie Whitehead & Tim Critland..They have all Wintered in the UK and after a successful season last year keen to get cracking again. Additionally we will have the services of Aaron Durelli for the season. We are delighted to announce that they are once again touring the UK in May / June they are staying at Crowhurst Park and using our club as our UK headquarters. Arriving here on May 27 we are due to play them on 28th May (40x40) and on June 12 (20x20) So once again our pavillion will be full of Aussie accents & no doubt our bar will be busy

Every year we try to make improvements to the facilities at the club. Also we will be giving the Pavilion exterior a much needed coat of paint. Please pitchin and help when the time comes
